EpiCare Limited is committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring that your personal information is handled in accordance with the United Republic of Tanzania Personal Data Protection, 2022, and its regulations. Personal data collected

EpiCare Limited collects and processes personal data to facilitate provision of EpiCare Limited services to our customers and can be collected either in person, over the phone, by email, or via our website.  We collect the following personal data:

  • Identity data including name, date of birth, marital status, gender, national ID, passport and signature.
  • Contact information including telephone number, postal address, physical address and email address.
  • Financial data including tax identification number (TIN), bank account details, billing address, payment information service plans and usage details.
  • Customer support interaction such records of customer service operations/interactions (phone call, chat logs, emails).
  • Marketing preferences such information regarding how customers wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, consent management for promotional communications.
  • Social media information such as data collected through EpiCare’s social media accounts.
  • While visiting our website, the server will record the following: IP address, date and time of the visit, type of internet browser used, the URL of any website that you were directed from; and the personal information from your computer when you browse this website will be collected voluntarily.

 

If personal data is collected by means of a form, an asterisk (*) next to the fields concerned will indicate that the information must be completed. The absence of an asterisk means that the information requested is not compulsory.

Personal usage

We use the data collected for the following purposes:

  • To contact you with information relevant to the services that you use or may want to use.
  • To respond to your queries, alerts, etc, and send you marketing or promotional messages, relevant to the services that you use or may want to use.
  • To perform the contract, we have entered with you.
  • To process payment or billing of services or products.
  • To improve our website, services, and user experience.
  • To comply with any legal or regulatory requirement or for use by our lawyers in connection with any legal proceeding
  • Due diligence, identity verification, fraud prevention, security purpose and debt recovery purposes.
